Likes: Cactuar juice, fondness for moogles, enjoys stargazing - something she misses from her childhood home of Kalm, the smell of fresh cut flowers, in particular enjoys roses due to her last name. Copious amounts of highly sweetened coffee.
Dislikes: Shinra, The Midgar Metropolitan Police, Mako Energy, Energy drinks, those who buy into propaganda, shows about murder.
Sexuality: Bisexual. Her work keeps her busy however and she has yet to meet someone who can keep up with her hectic lifestyle, and so often she simply has one night stands, that she takes great pains to hide to avoid tarnishing her, and S5SN's reputation.
the history behind the voice
Athena Rose was born alongside her twin sister Patty Rose in a small family that had its home set in Kalm. When Athena and her sister were only three years old, their father lost his job, and the family moved the Midgar Slums - in hopes that their parents could find work in Midgar no matter how meager it may be.As such the girls grew up in relative poverty, though Patty was one to never bow down to the pressures of life and it was she who often took the lead with Athena, finding creative ways for them to fit in at school so as not to be teased for being poor such as making their own clothing and finding ways to imitate the make up of the high fashion of the plateside dwellers. For Athena, her twin was her world, her best friend, confidante and protector. When Patty announced her desire to take to the stage in Sector 8 and join the Loveless Lane Theatre Troupe, despite knowing this would mean less time with her twin - Athena supported her sister wholeheartedly and gained a part-time job to help support her sisters dreams so as not to burden their parents with the extra financial strain. Despite the added stress of a job - Athena excelled at school and received a rare scholarship for journalism, and began to balance both work, schooling and helping her support her sister's dreams. Though she knew their parents meant well, they could only do so much, and the extended years of working at the Mako Reactors in Midgar had begun to take its toll on both their mother and father.Despite her workload, Athena attended each and every one of Patty's rehearsals and performances no matter how small or insignificant they were, believing that Patty would one day be the star she dreamed of. Shortly after Patty was finally accepted into the Loveless Lane Theatre Troupe as an official troupe member - Athena had an interview with S5SN - Sector Five Slum News, and aced the interview and began training to become a news anchor effective immediately. For the twins, they believed their past of poverty and struggle would soon be over with each achieving their dreams, and even the possibility of supporting their parents in their old age.Tragedy struck however, just as Patty was to make her first lead performing role in the ironic twist of a murder mystery play - found murdered mere days before the production's opening night. Devastated by her twin's death, Athena threw herself into her work at S5SN, realizing the Midgar Police had no leads, and were being suspiciously incompetent and unhelpful. Her hope is to uncover the truth behind her sister's murder and hopefully put allow her sister to rest in peace. Despite the pain of her twin's death, she continues on with her dreams of being Gaia's leading news anchor, knowing Patty would wish for Athena to achieve her dream for Patty's sake.

Athena's Idol
The woman who built Kang Network and S5SN up to be the first TV network untouched by Shinra through her blood, sweat and tears - Athena greatly admires Audrey's work ethic and desires to make Gaia a better place and is forever grateful that the woman gave her a chance to let her be one of the voices heard on S5SN.
Ramona Han - CEO of S5SN - The New Boss
Athena was all too happy to hear about Ramona's promotion to CEO following Audrey's retirement, knowing full well Ramona believed in the same mission that Audrey did. Though she is still a bit awkward socially with her new boss, she strives to do her best to impress her and to raise ratings for S5SN while also doing right by the TV network and it's ideals
Victor Gae - Cameraman of S5SN
While Athena doesn't know much about Victor outside of work, his cheery attitude at the news station never fails to bring a smile to her own face, and she's always grateful for his tips on how best to appear on camera, and that even despite that - he's always looking out for to ensure she looks good for the TV broadcasts.
Patty Rose - Beloved Twin Stagename: Patty Scarlet
Athena's adored twin sister, they were never seen separated. Though they grew up with meager means, they supported one another's lofty dreams and goals - for Patty to become a world renowned stage actress, and Athena, a decorated journalist and news reporter. Together they had just begun to achieve these goals simultaneously when Patty's body was found murdered just before the opening date of her first leading performance on Loveless Lane. Her murder is still unsolved, and in what spare time she has - Athena obsessively looks into who the culprit may be, even going so far as to use her work connections.
Astra Evangelista - Co-Founder of The Gaia Tribune, and old friend
Athena met Astra twice - the first time via her sister Patty's brief foray into modeling as part of her dream of acting - as Astra was by then one of Midgar's most well known models as well as in-demand, yet particular actor. The three remained friends and Athena was overjoyed when Astra began The Gaia Tribune newspaper alongside their friend Nath. Now that she has followed similar suit by joining the S5SN television network, she often goes to Astra for advice - which Astra readily gives.

I'm 28. and have been roleplaying for about 18 years now (got my start on neopets shhhh!!!!)
I mainly RP in-game on FFXIV, but on twitter I'm mainly found in the FFVII fandom. Though I've also got OCs for FFIX and FFVIII along with a plethora of Kingdom Hearts OCs.
But obviously you are here for FFVII!A brief note beforehand regarding kindness and courtesy:
⁍I do not expect everyone to adhere to my personal canon for my OCs - however I do ask that if you willingly choose to roleplay with my OCs and approach me first: that you respect their canon, basic backstory, headcanons, etc. I do the same for those I roleplay with, and take the time to ensure that anything pertinent about them that my character may know that is public knowledge, is acknowledged - and I expect the same respect.⁍Ships I'm open too - most ships so long as they are not anything listed below under what I will not roleplay (incest, dubcon/noncon/underage characters.)
